Performance Calendar
I am Mr. Myron to your children, but I would rather you just call me Myron.
I have previously taught children and adults music lessons through Music Lessons Express and through the Thomasville Road Academy of the Arts. I have been playing piano, guitar, and trumpet for almost forty years. I currently play piano with Tallahassee Swing, Swing Shift, and the country/rock band Encore, and other bands around town. I am currently the Pianist and Interim Worship Leader at First Baptist Church in Monticello, FL.
I am married with four children.. I have a BS in Civil Engineering from NCSU, Class of 1989. I also have had a Professional Engineering License in the State of Florida. But, since music is my true calling, I chose to forgo Engineering to be a stay-at-home dad and pursue my musical interests. I began teaching lessons in 2005, and I enjoy working with children and adults alike.
I have very eclectic tastes in music, and I believe music should be as fun as it is serious. I like Baroque, classical, jazz, blues, swing, rock and roll, christian rock, country; not necessarily in that order. Don't try to pigeon-hole me into one style! I prefer good music to bad music.
I miss playing tennis. I enjoy bicycling, camping and fishing.
